Hi guys , So basically I sent two glass items in the post via a courier - unfortunately these items arrived smashed, Paypal has since ruled i must refund her even though i told her that glass isnt covered. The buyer never asked for added insurance and so why am i being charged 😞 I am happy to refund the delivery but the courier smashed the item 😕 Please help I cant afford to lose £60 😞 Thanks Red

Unfortunately you can't say certain items are not covered even when they are fragile. You must pack them properly and ensure buyer receives them in good condition.

 

So I'm afraid you will have to refund.

Hello , the package was in a post office box and had 4 layers of bubble wrap around it - this is more than adequate i would suggest and courier clearly states glass not covered

Yes but I'm afraid PayPal's rules don't allow seller to claim that there is no guarantee that items get delivered in the same condition they were advertised in the ad.

You the seller has to deliver items in good order,insurance is to protect the seller not the buyer.

You should have taken out insurance from third party insurer.
