I have 2 items this morning marked with a red flag... Both say risk alert. Does any body know what that means.... Seems to be no explanation on pay pal proper.

Me too.  This morning, for the first time, I have two payments with a red flag ~ Risk Alert!  And cannot find what that means.  OK, Paypal, let's see some information about it!

I have the same problem this morning too. Are the items okay to ship or what?

I don't know, but I have the same "risk flag" too on my customer's payments.

I also have a Red Flag Risk Alert on a customers payment. The customer alerted me yesterday that they had been trying to make a payment for several hours and kept getting a message that PayPal was not available. After investigating on my own I found this to be true, so I think PayPal is still having issues.

LIke the rest of you, I couldn't find anything or anyone to explain the red flag issue.

According to Paypal , Risk alert is a new thing they are doing that used to be back office stuff, Just letting you know that one transaction such as shipping to Australia is more risky than shipping to Ohio or locally . It will problably start apearing on paypal users that are not Paypal verified as well . Long story short It's just as safe to send out the customers item as it was yesterday without the red flag Risk Alert.

Thanks for the heads up on "risk alert".  I recd one this morning on a person I have dealt with before who is verified.  My feeling is that if someone has already paid you, and you have transferred the money into your bank account, that person is OK.  Just make sure you insure your parcels regardless of who you ship them through.
