Excellent, thanks so much for the info!  A bunch of my transactions have risk alert flags also, but I REALLY didn't want to take the time call Paypal and find out why.

I found a few of these flags today too. I'm glad it's nothing to be concerned about.

I just rec. 3 payments all cleared money available, I see red flags next to all 3 payments, when I put my  cursor on the flag it says RISK something or other, what is this and who is at risk, me the seller or the buyer, I have never seen a red flag on my pay pal page

I am receiving these red flags too.  Also Paypal doesn't even answer their phone now when you call.  I have no idea what these red flags are.  I am getting them on all my transactions since yesterday.

I have one too. I am hoping its an error in their database or system.

I have 2 of them .  Today is first time.  1 was beside a shipment to Norway and the buyer asked me not to put shipping amount on package because of customs.  

But the other was just normal, no message.

I am on the phone with them now.  They said it is a system error but still tell you to check your Seller Protection to make sure it is safe to ship.  Basically it is their problem but still trying to warn Sellers to be careful as it also could be a legit red flag.  They are so swamped with calls that I was on the phone waiting for over an hour for them to answer.  My red flags are showing on a confirmed address so it is basically they are having major issues.  Of course it would be helpful if they would let us know about this but why make it easy.  Hope this helps some of you.

P.S.  I just got an email from Paypal with the following information (I have only included the first para).  It seems they need to fix their system in addition to maintenance:

To better serve our millions of customers, PayPal is upgrading our data center on April 19, 2012 from 10:00 p.m. PDT to approximately 11:00 p.m. PDT. Preparations for the migration will begin at 9:00 p.m. PDT which will have minimal external impact. We’re confident these changes will improve our services and help us meet the growing demands of our customers.

it is april the fifth and i have a red flag to a confirmed address as well. One use said he/she called and it is a paypal issue, but to please verify before sending off your product because the red flag could be legit...
