I have a guy that I want to purchase a pair of shoes from. He said his account is unverified so he can't do an invoice. He said he does friends and family. He says that his shoes are 100% Nike authentic and come with a Nike receipt. Also that he will give me a tracking number. He also has a 7 day return policy. I was wondering how protected am I if i do this transaction friends and family if his shoes are not Nike authentic or if he ships me something other than the shoes?

You won't be and he is probably well aware of that.
He is also breaking paypal rules by selling and requesting payment that way.
He is also breaking paypal rules by selling if his account is not verified.
Do you really want to risk it?
