On 4th of this month I boiught an item on ebay Australia checking out as a guest.
Hours later I receive an email from ebay saying that the seller's accouint was compromised and IO shoukld contact my payment service. (the item an account was a little suspicious, seller never replied me a question and the item was deleted , I think by ebay).
Created a paypal account and send a message about my problem. Only received a copy pasted response from customer service. I replied exoplaining my problem and received the same copy pasted responsed. I EXPLAINED AGAIN MY PROBLEM and the CS Rep told me to create a paypal account (??) to file the complaint, eventhough I was writing all the messages from the paypal account I created.
At the same time I contacted Customer Sercvice by phone and explained my issue. After that they sent me an email explaining that the seller said the item was sent and gave a tracking number (THAT DIDN'T APPEAR ANYWHERE. Not on ebay, not on paypal's email (it said tracking number and post service not available), and they also provided me with a link that doesn't work.
Today I received another email titled second notification, that asked me if I wanted to go on with the case as the item was delivered (???). Again: the item wasn't delivered, I wasn't given a tracking number,m and the most probable case, obviously, is that the item won't be delivered as it was a hacked account. Well, that email stated that if I wanted to go on with the case I should sign into my account and select "resolve".
I went into my account and the case doesn't appear (I suspect that's because I payed as guest). So I can't go on with the case.
It's getting really frustrating as CS Reps don't even seem to read previous emails nor help. What has me worried is paypal saying that the item was delivered and the inhability to go on with the case as it doesn't appear in my account is more frustrating.
What can I do to finally solve my case?

Confused about the chronology.
You purchased an item on eBay and paid as a guest. How did you pay? Credit card?
Later you created a PayPal account.
Then you want to file a claim with an account created after paying eBay as a guest?
Perhaps you could re-state what happened in a concise chronological list.

Since you pqid with a credit card you could just start a claim process with your credit card bank.
The other option is to continue with PayPal but you MUST follow the procedure they gave you; it will not be part of your PayPal account as that was ceated AFTER you made the purchase.

You'll need to contact PayPal customer service for help as this is a specific issue and new instructions. Just keep trying until you reach a person who can help.
