NO REFUND FOR ME

So I saw a top chinese seller selling 128GB AND 256GB micro sd cards and after reading some reviews about it I decided to buy Four. and after they arrived they were fake of course they hold only 7GB. so I filed a dispute and escalated it to a claim. and paypal gave the seller ten days to respond or I get refunded. so in this ten days the seller did not respond at all and i tought I'm going to be refunded when the ten days period end but to my surprise paypal asked me to ship the item back to the seller and provide a tracking number. Now if the seller responded it would have been okey to return the item but he did not even bother to open his paypal for more than ten days and that only mean that he probably closed his account and opened another one to scam people. and sending the item back would be pointless.

can anyone tell me what should I do I'm stuck.

That is the risk of buying internationally unfortunately as often it costs more to send it back trackable than is worthwhile.

 

We have more posts on here for item received but not as described / fake from China than anywhere else.

 

However if you can get written proof from a company in writing on letter headed notepaper confirming they are fake then often paypal will award a refund as they are not supposed to get you to return fake items as selling fakes is against the law.

 

If not then your best bet is if you funded your paypal payment with a credit card then contact your card issuer and see if they will do a chargeback for you.
