How do you tell if a money request is friends and family? It says 'payment for: goods' does that mean I have buyer protection?

Have you already sent the money or are you getting ready to send?
Is this money a gift or for a purchase?
Payment for goods and services means just what it states; it is for a purchase.
Friends and family is a gift to someone else and there is no fee.
