Money Stolen

Money Stolen: I had an e tenuating circumstance and medical emergency that forced me to cancel my travel plans in June, but I had sent a payment for a hotel room for July. I kept asking the person for a refund through Paypal plus sending emails, to no avail. The person kept stalling and I never heard from them again until I disputed the money. Then he threatens me. Paypal gave me different answers every time I called and I had to make a second dispute, but they never helped me. I never used Paypal and was very hesitant of using them and now I know why I have never used them. I am so disappointed in their service letting someone steal from one of their customers. They kept saying to have the bank refund me, but that is not the point. The person owes me the money back and they never bothered to help. Shame on Paypal!!

You can imagine PayPal's situation oon this... well I will explain

You can easily set up another account or use a friends account to send money too and create a good looking invoice for a hotel room in your situation for example. Once you send that money to the other account, you put it into your bank or something and remove cards from the account. PayPal can not retrieve it. They would then refund you and suddenly your double profitted. Its happened and they don't want to happen again. They will take a lot of measures before refunding on something like this

Its a difficult situation.

Well, I would never do that. I realize they probably have many incidents like this but why should I suffer for others ruining the system. It was my money and I never got to use the service. Its still not right. I feel I should just close my account and never use PayPal again. They are dishonest. My money was stolen.
