Help, someone hacked my paypal account and added a VISA to my paypal then withdrew all my money.

I tried to Dispute the Transaction at the Resolution Center  but it gives me this:

"The following Transaction IDs are not valid: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"

I tried to email/contact paypal since the incident happened but i am still withing for their response.

so i can't even report it??? was the hacker also behind this? Please help me paypal team...

Click on the words "Contact" at the bottom of your paypal account summary page and use the phone option (if there is one in the country you are in) > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent or say the word "agent".



OR have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?

You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.

Not that i am aware no, your other best option is twitter or facebook as per my post above.

BUT as this is quite urgent can't you borrow someones landline to make the phone call??

it has been resolved, I managed to contact paypal through skype, talked to their agent, answered some questions, got transfered to their fraud dept. answered a few more questions then the agent filed manually the dispute i think, told me i would get my money back in 24 hours, I got cutt off though because skype crashed but after one hour the hacked credits have been trasfered to my account. and the visa that the hacker used was disabled from my account. I changed my passwords for all accounts beforehand.

I'm very thankful of paypals response (through calls) but not through email as my problem was i being unable to file a dispute.

also, i would like to add that i may have been hacked bec. of two things (1)i'm using passwords are the same for all accounts. (2) i might have been a victim of fraudulent links (phishing). so i changed every passwords to unique ones and will never click suspicious links in my inbox! or better report that link to paypalspoof.

Someone did this to me as well back in the 27th. My problem now is I live outside the US and I don't know how to contact Paypal except through their message center, which didn't help. They got $190 out of me.

have patience and try calling at different times as you may not always get through their business hours.

I'm not a frequent user of Skype so I hope you don't mind if I ask some questions. I currently live in Asia, If I were to call the toll free hotline, do I still need to buy credits for it?

no you don't need credit. only a skype account.
