Would an email from a PayPal "agent" come from a gmail account?

Thanks for coming to the Community with your concerns!

I can think of no legitimate reason you'd receive an email from a @gmail account, so most likely that is a fraudulent email. Or someone seriously got their wires crossed when sending you something.

You can always forward any suspicious or odd emails to spoof@paypal.com and we'll be happy to confirm if they're legitimate or not.
