attempting to link debit card to paypal wallet-3 unauthorized charges to my bank account

How can I get my refund of Paypal confirmation charges?  They debited me three times, two of them were not authorized.  I have already called into customer service and attempted to send a customer service email.  The phone call resulted in the third charge.  I am not getting a response from customer service.

Did you actually confirm the card?

 

What are the dates of the charges?

 

Are they actual charges or just authorizations?

They are actual charges, not just pre-auth.

 

I attempted to confirm it, but once the charges showed with the passcodes the card no longer showed in my online wallet.  So, I called in saying there were two charges not just the one.  They said they couldn't refund it until I confirmed the card so they clicked some things over the phone and told me can I see the card now.  I said yes, but that the website wasn't accepting either passcode from the charges.  I clearly stated I did not want to be charged any more and just wanted a refund of the two charges.  They said you'll have to reconfirm the card, which got a new passcode and new charge put on my bank account which I had told them I didn't want done.  I attempted to confirm the third passcode and it wouldn't take it either.  At that point I told the rep I just wanted a refund and I clicked the button on the site that said something along the lines I changed my mind, I no longer want to link it. However, I still get no reply to my emails to paypal to get my refunds of the three charges.  The initial charges are dated 10/20, 10/20 and 10/26.

The problem started because could couldn't confirm the accout.  I can't figure out what you did as the instructions to confirm the code should have been simple and provided by PayPal.

I did follow the instructions, but wasn't able to follow thru when the card I was attempting to link wasn't showing in my wallet (and the fact that by that timethey already charged me twice, not just once). Calling into customer service just made it worse resulting in the third charge and still not able to confirm it...but now how do I get my money back??
