I have a recurring monthly payment set up and I would like to change the amount but cannot find how to do it. I found the below help article but I don't have a PayPal Credit button. Please help. Thank you.
Here’s how to change your automatic PayPal Credit payment.
- Click PayPal Credit on the left side of the page
- Click Manage payments.
- On the right, click Change under “you set up automatic payments.”
- Update your payment details and click Continue.
- Review your payment and click Agree and Schedule Payments.

Is this actually "PayPal Credit" or a recurring payment or subscription - there is a difference.
If it's PayPal Credit (which is basically a line of credit or a loan) - you can't change your payments - either you pay the minimum monthly payment or the total balance.
If this is a recurring payment or subscription - all you can do is cancel it. Then start over with the seller or merchant after you both agree on a different payment. Here's how to cancel a recurring payment or subscription.
Here's how to check:
Login to your account.
Click the Settings (gear) icon near the top of the page.
Under the "Payment" section.
Select "Manage Pre-approved Payments".
Select the merchant whose agreement you want to cancel and click "Cancel".
Click Cancel Profile to confirm your request.
* Cancelling a subscription cancels all future scheduled payments of that subscription.
* A subscription can be cancelled up until the day of the next scheduled payment.
