Word PLATINUM is missing on a new Paypal Extras Mastercard

My original Paypal Extras Mastercard with no chip (darkblue) had word PLATINUM on it. But this new one with a chip (white) does not have it any more as I noticed just yesterday. And I need it.

I called Synchrony and they redirected me to Paypal. I am trying to get the answer from Paypal at the moment - not very succesfully so far. If someone has some information/experiance on this, it would save me time and efforts.

PayPal sent me back to Syncrony. What Syncrony said after all was that my card was not Platinum anymore.

Interesting.  I wonder if it has to do with an arrangement with PayPal or your usage pattern or something else.  Actually, you'll probably never know as that information would not likely be disclosed.
