Hi, recently opened a business account and have integrated it with my website, however I don't seem to be able to accept any payments. I have tried to purchase something on my site as a test and I get the following error message "unfortunately the recipient doesn't accept payments from your chosen payment method. please choose another payment method". I have managed to send money to my business paypal account when it is funded by my balance but not when it comes from my card. I have checked all the settings and I can't seem to find any issues. Please could someone give me some advice, paypal support have be useless.

Check your payment settings. Profile > Business Setup > Payment Setup and make sure you have it set to accept payments.

Yes, I have selected option B but there is no place to go after that. It isn't a problem with my website as I cant accept payments internally either. My brother has tried sending money directly through paypal to my business account and he gets the same error message.

Your brother is sending from his PayPal funds balance to your PayPal account and he gets the payment error?

We have tried both using paypal funds and using a credit card. He can send payments using paypal funds but not the credit card.

It may be best to phone PayPal customer service. If you continue to attempt payments that don't go through PayPal might see it as suspicious activity.
