a friend of mine moved to canada and is sending me some money he owes me, he has CAD and of course im USD how does sending cad convert through paypal and whats the time frame this process takes, and is their a fee applied with this or any other basic knowledge i might need to know
He goes to send money > friends / family option > puts in the amount he owes you and selects USD from the drop down list > before he clicks to pay you it tells him how much in his own currency will be deducted from his funding source.
If he funds it from his bank account via instant bank transfer then its cheaper than a card, but he will pay a small currency conversion fee.
