Unable to withdraw fund to Asia United Bank (Philippines)

Hi guys, I keep on getting this error message whenever I attempt to withdraw my fund to my bank, "Sorry, but we need more information. Please withdraw money on our Classic site". I attempted to withdraw using the classic link but keeps on looping MULTIPLE times (endless). I have cleared the cache and cookies, used different browsers (from Google Chrome to Microsoft edge), I even used my paypal app on my iphone (says, "Denied due to risk") and still no good.

I have sent a message via customer service on Saturday PM (Philippine Standard time), it's Monday now and they keep sending me a template/ generic message on basics of withdrawing fund. I need to use the money ASAP to pay my bills.

Could it just be that PayPal is not compatible with that bank even though you may have added and verified it at PayPal?  Some banks and cards maybe ok for verifying PayPal account but not good for adding/withdrawing money from PayPal.

Then again, on your iPhone it said you couldn't withdraw due to risk. Your bank or PayPal has a risk prevention system. Risk prevention systems have artificial intelligence built in.  It takes into consideration various parameters and then finally decides to approve or stop a transaction. These systems can some time give out a false positive, which means stopping a legitimate transaction.  You can leave the account alone for several days and try the withdraw again.

Were you able to withdrawl to that bank before and this problem is occurring now all of a sudden?

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

I was able to withdraw multiple times on that bank on a non-paypal transactions. The idea is simple, I wish to deposit funds to it [Asia United Bank] from Paypal, if the bank account is not honored, Paypal should have not accepted it. What does this mean: http://prntscr.com/dlrkd7 anyway? 'Checking', is it Checking not Savings or they are attempting to check it?

Well that's the thing, you can do non-PayPal withdrawals to that bank but when you tried to withdraw money from PayPal to the bank, it denied you because of some kind of risk model PayPal has.

Checking in your picture means the bank account is a Checking account.

Maybe you can try to withdraw again after several days.  Something is flagging your account as a risk when you withdraw.  Did you have trouble logging in recently?  Using a IP proxy to hide your IP or something?

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

I haven't tried hiding IP yet, as a lot of my friends have no issue at all withdrawing from Paypal on their end. That's a very smart idea though. I think what I need now is a direct support from Paypal Help Desk so I can proceed with withdrawing my funds.

do your friends use the same bank as yours?

They either have BPI or Union Bank. It is not sound that Asia United Bank is not accredited by Paypal.

Paypal is US based company, there are some overseas banks ,the only way is to use wiretransfer which is expensive.

Some Philipines members get around it by sending fund to a US paypal member and he will download it to his US bank and then go to Western Union to wire money to Philipines.

If you keep having problem, you may have to find another way to tap your fund in your account.
