Top up error.

Hello, I am having probelms with adding funds to my pay pal from my bank account. I am not able to instant top up with trustly because my bank isnt on the list. It then tells me too, "Just log into your PayPal account and click on "Top Up" in the menu – then follow the instructions. A regular bank transfer normally takes a couple of days to complete". However, I cannot find this menu with top up in it.

Hi,

 

i have similar problem. I need to top up my balance in order to refund one buyer. My bank is on the Trustly list but instant top up service doesn't work (An unexpected error has occurred ) and nobody is willing to help me (I've opened support cases on both sides). So, does anybody know how to top up my balance? I'm from EU and don't have US bank account to add money to my account. Credit card cannot be used and obviously PayPal removed mentioned menu when updated its web site.

I'm from Slovenia. I'm not sure what exactly would you like to know. In regards to balance top up, I can select instant top up via Trustly which doesn't work (unexpected errors). I have option to transfere money from bank account that must be US bank account. Of course I don't have it I'm  in EU. It is also mentioned kind of manual top up that could be initiated via menu that doesn't exist.

For Slovenia PayPal accounts: can only withdrawl to cards and US bank accounts. So, since you can't add a local or non-US bank account to the PayPal account, have to use Trustly to add money to PayPal account.  Interesting workaround, if it actually worked.

 

Where is it giving you the error message, at PayPal or Trustly?

 

The process to instantly top up is to log in to PayPal partner Trustly's network with your PayPal credentials, select bank and specify the amount you want to transfer, then follow the steps to confirm the transfer.  And this is the PayPal US forums so we are not too familiar with how topping up accounts work overseas.

 

Maybe try again to top up later.

I would say that the error is on Trustly side. I'm able to select my bank, enter amount, user name and OTP password and than next step fails with error message. I contacted PayPal (2x) and Trustly support and asked for solution but they are not helpful.

 

Anway thanks for feedback, sorry, I didn't even notice that this is US forum.

 

Does anyone perhaps  know what happened with the top up menu?
