Hello,
I made a payment for a hotel in Puerto Rico on June 29th for week Oct 4, 2017 - Oct 12, 2017. Due to Hurrican Maria, I wasn't able to go cause of the condition in Puerto Rico. I reach out to the hotel and they agree to refund me. They confirm to me refund was made and they sent me a screenshot with the transaction. Hotel refund me on Sept. 29th. It been 2 weeks and no refund. I went to "Resolution Center" to file a case but its asking me to look for a transaction and the transaction is not there nomore. So there is no other way to open a case.

How your money is refunded depends on how you made the original payment.
* If you paid with a credit card, the money is refunded to your card.
* If the card you paid with is closed or invalid, the money will still be refunded to your credit card account.
* If you paid with your bank or PayPal account balance, the money is refunded to your PayPal account. After you have received the refund, you can withdraw money from your PayPal balance to your bank account.
* If you paid using a credit card and your PayPal account balance, the amount paid by credit card is refunded to your card. The remaining amount is refunded to your PayPal account.
* If you paid using PayPal Credit, the amount is refunded to your PayPal Credit account.
* If you paid with a debit card, the amount is refunded to your debit card. If the refund cannot be applied to your debit card, it will be applied to your PayPal balance.
Refunds to credit or debit cards can take up to 30 days depending on the card company involved.
If you need to locate that particular transaction, here's one way to find it:
Download or export your Transaction History
* Login to your account.
* Click "Activity"
* Under "Simple" "Detailed"
* Click on "Statements"
* Click on "Activity export"
* Select "Custom Date Range"
* Select your "From" and "To" Dates
* Under File Types for Download - Select "Comma Delimited - All Activity"
* Click "Download History"
What this process does is export your history to a CSV file, you can then use an app like Excel to sort, view, create and print your own reports.
