Refund still pending after two weeks?

For some reason my refund has been pending for two weeks now. The seller canceled the transaction due to a stocking error after I had already been issued a tracking number. We worked it out and I have the item but I was refunded $100 for the original transaction. I am fully aware that it takes time for funds to leave a bank account and show up in my balance but this is too long. I have called twice about the refund in the past week asking about it. I feel like I was given the run around and told that I would be getting my refund within 24-48 hours each time. Both time periods have passed and still nothing. Is there anything I can do about this? I was also never given a date at which to expect my funds.

How was the payment originally funded in terms of payment method?  And how was the refund issued?  As a separate payment via Send & Request?  How was refund funded; via merchant bank or from their PayPal balance?  

Or, refunded from the original transaction where you can see the related refund transaction in it's details page?  

Refunds to cards take up to 30 days or appears on your next statement.  Refunds for bank payments usually end up back in your PayPal balance and should not take so long.

The payment was originally funded from a bank transfer. The purchase was made on the 18th. The refund occured on the 19th. The money left my bank account on the 23rd. I confirmed with the seller that the refund had left his bank account before Thanksgiving. It was refunded from the original transaction. Either way it has been more than the 3-5 days estimated for a bank transfer. Even if the transaction waited for my money to arrive in the seller's paypal account and then initiated another bank transfer to my paypal account.

having this problem as well feb 16th got refunded it's feb 27th now and it's still pending, what the **bleep**. 😕
