Quick Refund from Play Asia?!

I have preordered the Nintendo Switch from Play Asia but it did not ship when it was supposed to, so I have tried asking for my refund but they are taking their time replying/not caring and I would just rather get my money back. I opened up a dispute but I am unsure what else I can do to get my money back.

@Soaku

If you opened a dispute for ''non receipt'' of item then escalate it to a claim when you can and you should get your refund.

I finally got in contact with them to discuss it but I can't close the case from my phone. It keeps saying something went wrong when I try to mark as resolved.

DO NOT close a dispute until you have your item OR a cleared refund as you CANNOT open a second dispute if this one is closed.

Escalate it to a claim within 20 days of opening it if you still have not got your item and then if you are refunded and the item turns up its easy enough to just pay them again.

Now they told me they cannot refund me without it being closed. They removed my order from my account but they stated I need to close the dispute to get the refund. I don't need the item, just the refund lol

They are NOT TELLING THE TRUTH.

If you had to close a dispute before getting a refund then no seller would ever be forced to refund as once closed they no longer can be forced to refund you by paypal.

Put on the dispute that the seller has asked you to do this and then ESCALATE the dispute to a claim.

Paypal will allow the seller 10 days to provide a tracking number that proves delivery of your item OR you will get your refund.

If the seller refuses to refund then paypal will do so under their buyer protection scheme.

But if you close the dispute the seller need not refund you and there is nothing you can do about it as you can't re-open a dispute.

Also currently having issues. Tried for 22 days to settle a refund directly for a copy of Persona 5 that arrived damaged and I mailed back. They just kept giving "we apologise for the inconveniences and are forwarding it to ____ departments to confirm". I opened a PayPal dispute on the 24TH day and they kinda juat ignored it and sent me e-mails acting like the dispute didn't exist and asking for more patience. I escalated to a claim. Which they ignored. Fast forward to 2 days before PayPal's deadline for response from them and they e-mailed me asking if I had opened the claim by mistake and demanding that I close it and let them know when I had. I contacted PayPal about said e-mail instead. I haven't heard anything back or received notification of PayPal's decision yet. I'll update when I do. So my advice is Do Not cancel your claim. It removes all protection for you on getting a refund and I honestly don't trust them now (I'd ordered items in the past but there seems to have been a change in them since).

UPDATE: PayPal decided today that they couldn't make a decision in either's favour at this time and closed the case. I uploaded my shipping documents but because I sent it without tracking [they Canada Post quote was around $44.00] to the return address instead of the one Play-Asia later requested in the claim, they won't confirm it ever arrived.
