Paypal declines my Phone Number

Paypal keeps saying my phone is not registered in my name. How do I fix this?

Is it registered to your name and PayPal address and only to your name?

I use textnow, I've used it for years. I assume it's registered to my name.

So the phone number is in your wife's name, not your name.  It needs to be in your name and with your PayPal address.

All of the accounts (bank, phone, utility bills) must be in your name and address as they are are used to help confirm YOUR identity.  You can't use someone else's account to confirm your identity.

Best to contact customer support for assistance.  Note, they may ask for additional proof of ID - if you have a copy of your phone bill that has your name and address on it showing your are account owner, that could help.
