My payments are pending in my eBay account

Hi,

I have problems with receiving money for my sold items on eBay. Payment status of my last three payments are "Payment was initiated on Nov-24-16 and is being processed through Paypal".

I changed my paypal email address from old one to a new one in my paypal account, but I forgot to change my payment policy on ebay, so my buyers sent payments to my old email address. I deleted this old email address and it can not be restored. So far there was no problem with it, but now payments are pending. I've changed payment policy to right address in my ebay account. I don't get payments, so don't send items to my buyers who are frustrated about it.

So where is my money?
Please help me to get my payments. Unfortunatelly paypal support doesn't answer, but I've sent many emails.

Thank you! Best Regards, Norbi

Go and find the transaction in your “my ebay” > click to the right where it says sell similar > don't fill in anything just scroll down to the payments section > look in the paypal box > is the email addy in there correct with no spelling mistakes? If so then it would have been wrong on your finished auctions so come back for more advice.

Yes, when I realized that there is a wrong address in my payment policy, I changed it. I did what you wrote, but now paypal email address is correct. I think because I have changed. My problem is where my payments for three sold auctions? Today I sold other item, this payment arrived successfully into my paypal account. My "lost" payments aren't listed in my paypal account. I see only a hourglass icon instead of the dollar icon in my eBay account.

You can't change an email address on a FINISHED auction as that buyer has already paid to that incorrect email address.

Firstly can you add that email addy to your paypal account, as you can have up to 8 on the one account.
If you can add and verify it then the payments should come through.

If not then you need to contact your buyers and ask them to see what it says in there paypal accounts either:

1. Unclaimed with a cancel option.
2. Unclaimed.
3 Completed.

If its:
Unclaimed with a cancel option.

Then ask them to cancel the payment but tell them that it will take a few days to go back to their funding source if they funded their original payment with a debit or credit card. Then get them to use the "send money" > Goods option and pay to your email address. Tell them DO NOT use the ebay option or it will direct them to ebay checkout and the same thing will happen.

Unclaimed.

If there is no cancel option then the buyer will get their money back automatically 30 days after paying if it remains unclaimed. If it changes to completed they need to come here for advice. You will need to sort out between you if you want to still go ahead with the sale or cancel it.

Completed.

If its completed then come back for more advice.

Then next time you list an item for sale change the email addy during the listing process and check everytime.

Also to help you sort things with your buyers you can pull their contact info if its an ebay transaction. Go to advanced search top of ebay pages > contact member left column > fill in the details and ebay will send you an email with their telephone number.

I got answer one of my buyers. I asked him to check status of the paymant. His answer: "The transaction looks fine on our end. " Ok, but where is my money in this case???

I don't understand!

I had no problems until november, payments for sold items on eBay arrieved to paypal with new email address, but old email addres in payment policy.  After Nov 24, payment of three sold items are pending. I see only small hourglass icons. I changed my email address in paypal almost half a year ago. Payments are received without problem, not changed in ebay payment policy. I changed payment policy to new paypal email address on Dec 8 to avoid furter problem. After I sold an other item on Dec 9. Payment arrived successfully into my paypal. So three payments lost in somewhere.
