Ok, so i sent money to an email. I was 99% sure it was correct. So i sent the account $59.98. I sent the money to friends and friendly U.S. I contacted the friend i sent the money to 1 week later. He chacked his pay pal and never got the money. I soon relized i sent it to the wrong email. The email is real just it has never been accosiated with any pay pal logins. I tried to refund the money so i can send it to the correct email. There is nothing where i can refund or anything. Is there any way for me to get my money back: or is it gone forever?

What does it say next to the transaction in your paypal account?

1. Completed.

2. Unclaimed.

3. Unclaimed with a cancel option.

Mine doesn't have any of those options.  It just says 'money sent' . and has three initials that are not the email address that I sent it to -- why is the email address not showing up?  I'm not sure it went to the person I intended it for?  and how can I cancel it if it went to the wrong person?

If its marked at sent then its completed hasn't it.

So you would need to 'click' on the transaction and email the person you sent the money to and ask them to refund it.

If you sent it using the 'friends / family' option then you can't force them to return it unfortunately.
