Is PayPal safe to use with overseas purchases

I’m Leary of purchasing items from a company in China that I know nothing about. The company keeps popping up on my Facebook account with cute clothes at reasonable prices. PayPal is an option for payment but should I assume this is a true link to PayPal within their site? Or could it be a fraudulent method of obtaining my info?

PayPal as a payment service is very safe for international payments.

PayPal, however, will not protect you from bad buyer decisions.  PayPal will not lose your money but PayPal will not refund your money for your own bad decisions.

Click on Legal at the bottom of the page and then User Agreement.  Make sure you really undestand PayPal buyer and seller protection policies.
