How does being in debt will PayPal work? (I may of messed up bad!)

So I urgently needed to order a few PC parts because my computer basically decided to **bleep** up and break $500 worth of parts. I had $0.00 in my bank at the time and because PayPal lets you pay using your bank even if you have no money, I went ahead and did so. I checked my bank and two days after I ordered the PC parts, It showed -$356 as expected. But the next day I checked my bank and the $356 was returned. After that though, it appeared that my Paypal balance went into negative. But another 2 days goes by and both my Paypal and bank are in negative. I'm not too sure but is this them trying to request the money from your bank but the bank is declining it meaning my bank balance will keep going from negative $356 to $0 over and over?

Also, I got a few other questions so can someone will great knowledge on this please help me out?

First off....

*Do I have to put money both into my bank and Paypal meaning I owe double!!!? $712!!!!! (Because both are in negative now)

*Will my bank just keep requesting and returning the money until money is in my account.

*Will they stop requesting eventually and just leave my PayPal at negative until I pay manually?

*Will there be serious consequences if I don't pay in a certain amount of time?

*And last of all, can I put these direct debit attempts on hold?

I didn't really think about this whole thing as I really needed to fix my computer as that's what I need to earn money and without it I am poor.  I have to wait possibly a few months to pay off that amount as the parts I've ordered will be less effective on how I get my job done.
