So I urgently needed to order a few PC parts because my computer basically decided to **bleep** up and break $500 worth of parts. I had $0.00 in my bank at the time and because PayPal lets you pay using your bank even if you have no money, I went ahead and did so. I checked my bank and two days after I ordered the PC parts, It showed -$356 as expected. But the next day I checked my bank and the $356 was returned. After that though, it appeared that my Paypal balance went into negative. But another 2 days goes by and both my Paypal and bank are in negative. I'm not too sure but is this them trying to request the money from your bank but the bank is declining it meaning my bank balance will keep going from negative $356 to $0 over and over? Also, I got a few other questions so can someone will great knowledge on this please help me out?    First off.... *Do I have to put money both into my bank and Paypal meaning I owe double!!!? $712!!!!! (Because both are in negative now) *Will my bank just keep requesting and returning the money until money is in my account. *Will they stop requesting eventually and just leave my PayPal at negative until I pay manually?   *Will there be serious consequences if I don't pay in a certain amount of time? *And last of all, can I put these direct debit attempts on hold?   I didn't really think about this whole thing as I really needed to fix my computer as that's what I need to earn money and without it I am poor.  I have to wait possibly a few months to pay off that amount as the parts I've ordered will be less effective on how I get my job done. ... Charged twice (Very Serious)

So on September 29th, I bought a PC part online that cost $98. I had only $0.85 in my account and paid using my linked bank account set up to my PayPal. I was aware that I had the 85 cents in my account but proceeded to purchase and overdrew my account. It took until October 2nd to show up in my bank transaction history but when it did my bank account was -$98.15 as expected. So the next day I check to see if any fees were added but it showed that the amount that was owing was "returned" and my bank went back to $0.85. "Yay so I got it for free right?" Nope! This is where the problem/s begins.   So the next day after the.. "return" I receive an email saying "You made a payment on 29 September 2017. We weren't able to debit the amount from your bank account because there were insufficient funds. As a result, your PayPal balance is now negative. Please resolve your negative balance by adding funds to your account as soon as possible."   I also received this email saying   On 29 Sep 2017, you attempted to transfer 98.00 AUD from your bank account. Your bank declined the transfer because of insufficient funds. PayPal automaticallys resubmits the transfer to your bank within 5 days from the date the payment was initiated. Please deposit funds into your account to cover the amount of this transaction.   After reading that, I checked my Paypal balance and it was in negative but I didn't really care as the charge was removed from my bank so I thought that the debt was just moved over to my PayPal. So because I receive my pay in a few days I decided to go a little more into debt as no fees have been applied whenever I overdraw. I buy two other computer parts as I urgently need replacement parts for work. I bought these two parts on October 4th and one cost $105 and the other $123. So today (Oct 5th) I check my bank again and now it is showing that the $98 has been charged to my bank AGAIN! But what is worse is I check my Paypal and that ALSO is -$98 meaning I have been double charged.    Now what I am really worried about is that when I checked my bank transaction history today, it also showed the 2 other items I bought being directly debited (like the first $98 purchase I made). As of right now, my bank balance is -$325.15 and my Paypal is still sitting on -$98. Now because I paid for the other 2 items using the exact same way through PayPal while having no money, I am really scared that the exact same thing will happen as what happened with the $98 purchase meaning I will owe $325 to my bank account and $325 to Paypal resulting in a debt of $650!!!!!    I have no idea what this could be and really want to know how to correct either my Paypal or Commbank account meaning I will only get the "one" charge through "one" of the sites and not both. Sorry, this has been very long but it is a big issue in my eyes. Please, someone responds with as much detail to this as possible and if this can be fixed.    Commbank Transaction History: https://imgur.com/Mgv6W3U PayPal Transaction History: https://imgur.com/RQrxeUx   (I have blacked out the numbers in the "Transaction Details" just in case it is sensitive information) ...
