Hostgator payment error

Hello,

Whenever i try to pay with Paypal a Hostgator one-time payment of 10$ (and that used to work in the past, in 2015), i receive an error : "We were unable to process your payment. Please try again later or a different payment method, or contact our support staff for assistance." I have set up a recuring payment, the card linked to Paypal has funds, the addresses concide, and on support chat, there is no details on the error. I can pay other things via Paypal with no problem.

Where could be the problem?

There has been some problems reported with making one time payments at Hostgator.  Try the billing agreement method to see if it will process the one time payment.  I've read that works.  If the payment goes through as recurring billing, after the initial payment, you can always go into your Preapproved Payment settings to cancel the agreement later.
