Do refunds take time to show up in PayPal Credit?

My PayPal account page shows a $199 refund that's earmarked to go into my PayPal Credit balance. However, it's been about eight hours and PayPal Credit is not showing that the refund has been applied. Is this normal? A while ago, I received another refund from the came company, for something I bought with PayPal (not PayPal Credit), and the refund was added to my regular PayPal balance right away. Should I be worried?

No need to be worried. PayPal Credit is a separate financial institution so funds will not show immediately; it may take a couple days.  As long as the refund is showing as linked to the original payment transaction then all is well.

Pay attention to the statement dates with PayPal Credit to make sure there is no payment due on the current non-refunded charge.

Indeed, the money was there when I check this a.m. (approx. 24 hours after I first looked). Thanks for the reassurance - it helped. - gb
