Confirmed transaction question

Hi guys, ive bought something using my paypal account.. after i paid the fee... It says transaction was a success.. i told my seller that the payment went through.. he checked his account but it says on hold.. (he sends me screenshots for proof, we talk on messenger)... It was odd because it says successful on my end... Until i saw the confirm button. Of course, i pressed it.. it went well on my end but the seller is still on hold on my payment.. how can i address this? We're both having some trouble..

What did you buy?

Did you buy from a web site or pay a seller iinvoice?

What are the details of the transaction in your PayPal activity list on your computer?

How did you fund the payment, PayPal funds, credit card, or bank account?

 

Is the payment pending or are funds on hold for the seller?

Did the seller check the details of the transaction on the PayPal acitivity list on the seller's computer?

 

Seller should check PayPal User Agreement for information on holds.  Click on Legal at the bottom of the page for more information.

I paid using my credit card... It says complete.. but on the sellers account it says on hold... The item is intangible..

The funds may be held for 21 days as the seller does not have any proof of delivery--and cannot provide such.

If you have an issue just file a dispute for item not received for a refund.
