Charged but no confirmation email? *NOW RESOLVED.

Hello. I ordered something online and used my paypal account for my card to be charged. I see that my card has already been charged the amount I paid, however, there is no confirmation email that paypal has one the transaction but money was already taken from my card. And the activity is not posted yet either or even named "PAYPAL *storename" right? So... 

I am freaking out right now because paypal normally sends the receipt following the order. It's taking quite a while and I am growing extremely paranoid.

EDIT; I have finally received the receipt from paypal and the activity finally shows in my account. 🙂

I'm in the same boat as you, purchased, money was taken from my balance, but the purchase is still pending on the merchants side. No invoice number, no activity showing, nothing.

What website did you use for the purchase?

What type of payment did you actually make?

What does the purchase receipt show?  You did print a receipt for your records?
