Can't send a payment to my friend!!!

I've been trying to send money to a friend from Brazil and give them money still in USD. But when I click continue, this happened:

"Sorry, this recipient can’t accept personal payments."

I'm not sure what happend. Can anyone please help!!!???

Is the friend in Brazil or somewhere else but iriginally from Brazil?

Check the currency and monetary restrictions to the destination country; not all countries accept incoming funds.

He lives in Brazil. And where do I check it from?

I don't think Brazil accepts incoming funds.

You could check the forum for Brazil funds; it think it's already been discussed.

But my friend told me that he gets his money from the US. I don't know what's wrong here.

How does he get his money from the U. S.?

You can always phone PayPal customer service and ask for a differnt explantion.  Click on the "contact" link at the bottom of the page for options.

are you sending friend and family or goods and service?

try sending goods and services,recipient would pay a fee though.
