refunds

I bought something on eBay. The next day I was issued a refund through PayPal because the seller could no longer sell it. My refund is no where to be found. Its not in my wallet or in my checking account. I have no idea where my money is and I am not happy. Is this because of the 21 day hold crap. Can pay pal grant me my funds back sooner?

How did you fund the paypal payment that was refunded, bank account or debit / credit card.

It won't  be the 21 day hold, that is for sellers and not buyers and does not affect payments that have been refunded.

OK then >>>

If you funded the original paypal payment to the seller with a debit or credit card then it won't go back to your paypal balance.

Once marked as completed it will automatically go back to your bank account or credit card but takes up to a week to process through to the bank and a bit longer for a c.c.

Ok I just wanted to make sure that I would be receiving it back. I got scared because it was for a large amount. Thank you.
