problems sending payment

I committed to a payment on Ebay last night and I get to the payment screen, I put in my Paypal username and password, then instead of taking me back to Ebay to complete my payment it takes me to the paypal website and asks me to log in again!! I have tried this on both the app and browser. Please help!

Did it work when you logged into PayPal?

PayPal and eBay are 2 separate companies and operate somewhat separately.

Paypal isn't staying logged in even thought I'm ticking the box to stay logged in. I think that's the issue.
