paypal's protection is joke,and never deal with them again

i bought shock from rockauto,and was so disappointed,why?they sent me a used with broken shock and boxs,but no nun and bushings,i filed a dispute with paypal,and seller asked me to closed dispute,after i did google researchs,found out they happened many times,sold trash and never refund money to buyer,so i refused seller,expected paypal can do right thing ,but guess what their decision is??,they ask me that send package back to seller at my cost,here is their message:Please return merchandise to receive a refund - Case ID #PP-004-278-904-609,you are responsible for any costs associated with the return

 

called paypal,asked them if it is fair to buyer,who was cheated and lost times and money,they said it is their policy

 

buyer who still with paypay,do youself a favor,consider twice if you still want paypal to do buisness with

May be a good idea to read up on buyer protection before you start buying so you know how you are covered.

 

In the event of an item received but not as described dispute it is always one persons word against the others, and no way for paypal to definately know who that is.

 

So they often find in favour of the buyer BUT the buyer has to return the item back to the seller before they get their refund.

 

No different really than if you bought an item from a shop in town and then have to spend money going back into town to return a faulty purchase.
