recently i asked on the forum if refunds can be made when it goes through family & friends > gift. he said that if i would use that option there could be no refunds made. now my friends say that this is nonsense and that they can always ask for a refund.

how do i protect myself against refunds? my friends said emails from him saying that it has been delivered isnt enough as evidence against refunds. does anyone know things how i can defend myself against refunds?

@layme Firstly it's against PayPal rules to sell and ask for payment using the family / friends method as you are negating your buyers protection and risk your account being limited. As a buyer I would never pay that way. Secondly a buyer can file for non receipt of item and item not as described so as long as you send promptly and track able with as described goods you should mostly be OK. Lastly if a buyer funds there PayPal payment with a card then they can charge back however they paid.

Advice is voluntary.
