Has anyone any advice on this, we have searched and asked everywhere.
We have a website that accepts recurring donations, nearly all our readers are on mobile and nearly everyone in the world uses paypal.
But . . the paypal experience for recurring donors on mobile is RUBBISH. Even if you use Paypal Express out of a store, or native buttons..
Paypal express for a standard donations is a nice easy to use single login screen designed for mobile.. .. someone can do it with one hand and it passes all the info back.
BUT for recurring/subscriptions . . you get rendered a normal web page . . on mobile, with many many fields and and fill in a million fields = people walk away.
we've got the subscriptions all sorted, it's all about the "last yard" the bit where the customer clicks in name/password and then subscribes using paypal.
We have been sent by paypal back to the API/developer doco . . but we arent developers. Equally we have asked people who make commerce sites and they dodge that question . . . (I mean who would have though that mobile users would want a mobile experience . . )
So we are looking for a new way of doing this BUT it has to be using paypal as the merchant, the click thru to set up needs to be mobile friendly and express easy, easy and can be done on one hand on a mobile
Any advice? pointers to paypal providers?
