Want to use PayPal on a one time charge

I want to buy something that has a "string" of "recurring monthly charge" unless you cancel..and we all know how well *that* works...

I can't find any *one use* debit cards..so i though maybe running it through PayPal would eliminate the recurring thing, unless I say it is OK..

Will this work?
Or will PayPal just *honor* the inquiry every month..which is what I *don't* want to happen....

Sorry, there is no way to make it a one-time charge at the website..

When a recurring payment or subscription is created with PayPal, it can be cancelled in the PayPal profile settings.  Instructions linked below:

How do I cancel an automatic payment I have with a merchant?

Once a preapproval or subscription has been cancelled, PayPal will not honor any future payment or authorization requests from that merchant.
