Receiving money from paypal

Hello I am living in Germany and I have recently received a payment through an email confirmation. Its been a month and more still I have not got the funds to my paypal account. I sold a product to a person in Great Britain. Can anyone help me say whether the email is genuine one or not??? Because when i spoke to the customer service they say there was no transaction made they say! The buyer sent money with buyer protection. When I read some forums they says it will take 21 working days to get the money released after verification and all!!! Please help me friends!!!

Genuine ppal emails:

Always address u as Dear Full Name

Never ask u to click on links/downloads/attachments

Never ask for personal info

If u arent sure whether the email u received was genuine forward it to spoof@paypal.com for confirmation.

If u are a new seller yes u have a 21 day hold on payments

If the payment isnt in your acc as ppal told u then it looks like u havent been paid as u would see the transaction in your acc even if there was a hold on it

Did they send the money in pounds sterling or euros and if the former is your paypal account set up to receive that currency??

i got a mail like this from paypal.    

Name sent you € XXX.XX EUR. Transaction Code: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello paypal email id !

Name has sent you a payment of € xxx.xx EUR.

Its a spoof, paypal NEVER tell you to send trackable, they advise it for seller protection but you don't have to.

Paypal NEVER tell you to send an item BEFORE the funds are showing in your paypal account balance.

Send the email to spoof@paypal.com.

Also why would someone in the UK which uses pounds sterling send a payment in euros???
