Receiving Payments / With no bank/card

Hey everyone, 

When you receive money, and you don't have a bank account or debit/credit card linked to your paypal account, where will the money go? Will the money just be stored on your acccount, for you to spend? Or do you just not get the money? Any help is appreciated.

When a buyer pays you the payment is credited to your paypal account balance, if you are in the US you can only withdraw it to a bank account linked and confirmed to your paypal account.

HOWEVER if you want to leave the funds in your balance so you can spend them when you buy stuff you will need to have a back up card linked to your paypal account as well.

So if I link a debit card to my account, all the money I receive will go into the debit card?

No i did not say that at all.

Try reading my answer again.

I said you could ONLY withdraw to a linked and confirmed bank account if you are in the U.S.

BUT if you want to spend the funds in your balance to buy items you need a back up card linked to your paypal account to do so.
