Re: anyone else having trouble adding funds to paypal account??

I am having the same problem. When I go to My Account > Profile > Update Bank Account, it says my card is primary and confirmed. But when I hover over Account > Add Money, I only see an option to add money from MoneyPak, and not an additional option to add from a bank account like I normally would.

 

I did look in all other options to see if the option was moved for some reason but couldn't find anything. Any help with this problem would  be greatly appreciated.

I am having the same problem. Moneypak is the only option provided, and I get an error message at the top of the page telling me my personal information cannot be confirmed at this time. I sent a message to paypal about this issue and all they did was send me an automated e-mail explaining how to add money to my account. 

I already know how to add money, but I can't very well do that if Paypal refuses to 'confirm my personal information' now can I? My checking account is perfectly valid and I've had no trouble with past transactions. Don't bother e-mailing Paypal, they are incredibly unhelpful and just copy/paste the vague instructions highlighted in their FAQ. 

I think the only way you're going to resolve this issue is to call Paypal directly and talk to a representative. That's what I plan to do. I'll re-post with results.
