I see this quesiton has been answered but hoping for a more positive response.
Is there some reason that PayPal won't let me pay using Credit Card? I MUCH prefer using the CC to manage funds during a month. Also, the card gives me a statement which I can use for filing with taxes.

Unfortunately the system is designed to work in a specific manor. Credit cards are used as additional proof of ID and a backup funding source. You can pay with a credit card when you are on the PayPal Checkout Screen. There's an option to use or select another funding source. The downside is, you must select this option each time as it's not automatic.

Thank you, snowshoe.
I wonder if there's something i'm missing.
I wish I could insert a picture. I have a screen. The payment screen has the logos for the various credit cards. Sometimes I'm able to pay with a cc, but usually not. The logos are not active hyperlinks.

Ditto, when doing eBay checkout, I generally don't see any option to change funding source.
