So I sold an item which is a code for PlayStation and the seller paid 62$. His money was held in my account and it is asking me to add a tracking or shipping info. My item is not shipped or anything, it is a virtual code for PlayStation which adds funds to your account so you can buy online games. This code was sent to the buyer via the email he provided, What should I put as the tracking info? Thanks
You have no seller protection for virtual items (items that do not have a shipping service tracking number). If a buyer claims non-delivery, the buyer wins.
Since you didn't, and can't, provide a tracking nuumber PayPal could see the transaction as suspicious and will hold funds for 21 daya or untils a buyer dispute is no longer likely.
If you are a new seller there will be a 21 day hold.
