Pay After Delivery

My mind is boggled, I did the pay after delivery on one PS2 Wireless controller then on another one, then I went to purchase the SAME item, same brand and everything days later and it wouldn't let me do the pay after delivery. So I am extremely confused about this whole situation.

Can I get a print out of the guidelines so I can know before I make the commitment to an item, ( I have the needed money in my account, its just sometimes I want to have the option of paying later).

The Pay After Delivery payment option allows qualifying buyers to purchase eligible items and wait up to 14 days to pay for them. The PAD payment option is only available for eligible purchases under $10,000.00 and is not available to all buyers. In order to use PAD, qualifying buyers must have a valid checking or other qualifying account at a bank which is linked to their PayPal Account and identified as their primary bank account from which funding transfers may be withdrawn; if there is no valid linked bank account then PAD will not be available, even if the qualifying buyer has used PAD before. Where a buyer and item purchased are eligible for PAD, which shall be determined in PayPal's sole discretion, buyer may choose the PAD payment option at the time of purchase.

Hello, Thank you for your response. I've already been approved for the Pay after delivery option, and I have used it before, but what I don't understan is I purchased one item and used the pay after delivery option then went to go purchase the SAME item  from another shop and it wouldn't allow me to use it then. I have no exceeded my limit. So I don't see how paypal can pick and choose which items can be used for pay after delivery and which can't. Which is why I asked for a list of what items would be under the correct criteria for the pay after delivery option.

So Pay After Delivery is only available when your bank account is set as the Primary/Preferred method of payment? It doesn't work when the transaction will be used with a credit card?

I am supposedly enrolled in PAD and have a bank account linked to PayPal, also credit cards, but it isn't even available for me to use for any option, bank account credit account, etc!  I'm totally confused!  All I know is that PayPal puts stuff through without telling me, it used my bank account even after I told them to use my credit card...just plain weird, and totally unauthorized!!!

I am frustrated.

How do you know if something is elligeable for "Pay after delivery"?

I was offered this service and have never seen the payment option for anything.

Getting any answers about the offer is impossible.  It's elusive.  Is there something about it that would cause paypal or ebay to not address it at all in any of their faq boards or anywhere in my profile or account settings.  I have already been approved, I activated it, my accounts are linked to my checking account.  I've done everything I'm supposed to do.  I think.  How would I know?  Getting answers is impossible.  I've written 3 emails and been on hold forever on several phone calls.  This topic alone has over 2,000 inquiries on the community help forum, you'd think they would address it somehow, somewhere.  Why would they offer something unsolicited and then be secretive about it?  It's bizarre.

I don't have a clue how I would even know how to identify if something is elligeable or ...  I don't see it as a payment option anywhere when checking out.  Help.

Thanks

i did not want to do a pay after delivery but had no choice, it was put on my account but have now had it turned off  as i had money in my paypal to pay for the goods, what a lot of hard work, find out how much all goods come to, then  i have to transfer money to bank account i was not happy and had to phone pay pal.

there should have been two options for paying pay pal or bank.
