Hello. I need to cancel a recurring payment that is set up through my bank and the first one is due in Aug. I previously downloaded a computer program called Speedmax PC with Priority Support from Safecart. According to the transaction I see on PayPal I will have to pay another $29.97 + another $9.97 for "service" for another year. I paid for the program when I first downloaded it. The $9.97 is supposed to b e for furthur computer help. I cannot find anything on that PayPal page to
cancel this recurring payment. At the time I bought this program, I did not realize they were going to charge me every year.
for the program. I don't know if this is just a mistake on their part or my part...I just want to cancel it before they get around to taking it out of my account !! Any advice??

Cancelling a subscription or recurring payment cancels all future scheduled payments of that subscription. A subscription can be cancelled up until the day of the next scheduled payment.
- Log in to your PayPal account.
- Click the My Account tab.
- Click the History subtab.
- Click More filters, select Subscriptions and agreements, and then click Subscriptions.
- Change the date back to the year the subscription was created, and then click Show.
- Click Details next to the subscription.
- Click Cancel Subscription.

It would seem to me PayPal that with all the trouble customers are having with SafeCart (myself included) that paypal could at least ask the consumer if they accept this charge. Yes, I might have been scammed by these guys once, no I did not sign up for recurring payments. I assume this is the same story many consumers have. I know so because I've read about these stories on this site and when I google SafeCart. I feel less protected by PayPal now that this has happened. It's such an obvious scam. Is anyone watching?
