Known Issue: Payments not appearing on sender or receiver's account

Update:  Engineers are reporting the issue with transaction delays was fixed late last night (around 2am ET).  Typically a transaction may take a few minutes to appear in the account activity and we are back to that normal behavior.  Thanks for your patience during this issue.

Hi everyone,

Our engineers are aware of an issue right now where payments are not immediately appearing in the account activity for both senders and recipients.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and our engineers are working to fix this as soon as possible.

This issue appears to be causing a delay in when the payments appear.  The transaction is initiated, it's just not appearing on the website for up to 4-5 hours in some cases (the time appears to be random).

I will update this post when we have more information and to let everyone know when the fix has been implemented.

How long did it take to show up?  I sent a payment an hour ago and it's still not showing, luckily the person I bought from was nice enough to let me have the item, but this is strange.

My payment finally showed up 3hrs later, can you imagine if i was somewhere and really needed the money, like now???

The answer is that its a technical glitch that paypal are working on.

Having the same problem here, my payment's aren't showing up. Also didn't get confirmation emails.

I'm having the same issue.  Money was taken off my balance but the transaction isn't in my activity log and my friend hasn't received the payment.  It's been an hour.

Same here, $ was taken out of my balence for 2 payments but nothing in my activity log yet. This is rediculous, im waiting to call PP when they open but i hope it shows in 3hrs like others here have said.

I have just send monrey to my daughter's paypal account via "sending money to family" as I have done many times before. However, this time around the money never reached her but i'm short $300 with no record of it of ever leaving my account. I tried again, tthingking maybe I got her email wrong, (even thou its saved on my acount) the same thing. $ left my account, never reached her and no record of it??? My only thought is website maintinance? 

Can anyone help with it?

Same thing happened to me. Sent money to family and money left my account but no history at all.
