I ordered something from ebay and canceled my order, ever since then I got charged twice on my debit card, the first time it was labeled as "RETURNED ITEM FEE FOR AN UNPAID $42.99 ITEM - DETAILS: PAYPAL INST XFER REGAMES2015" for $34.00 and the second time it was labeled as "PAYPAL RETRY PYMT WEB REGAMES2015" for $42.99, both times I wasn't expecting to be charged at all. And it doesn't help that my "refund" of $42.99 on paypal has been pending for a week. I'm confused about this as well because no money came out of my account until I canceled my order, because of this I'm $63.27 overdrawn from my bank account... help?

you should have called your bank to cancel the payment but you'll get charge for cancellation fee.
here's what you can do. call your bank and tell them what happened and ask the overdraft to be waived.
you can also call paypal and request for a bank letter that you can send to your bank.
