I sent money to my friend, but he didnt get them and he doesnt have them under "pending"

I send some money to my friend and the email is correct. However, he tells me that he doesnt have them. When I click on the transaction, it says unclaimed and "The recipient of this payment is Unregistered" ... Can that be the problem?

Yes, that is the problem.  When you sent the payment, your friend should have received an email from PayPal to sign up and claim the money.  Tell your friend to look for that PayPal email for instructions to claim money or he can sign up using the email address you sent the money to.  Then the transaction will appear soon after signing up.  Your friend will have to add a bank and card to withdrawl money or use PayPal to checkout and make purchases with the money in their account.
