I cannot add money using my U.S. Bank Account

Before answering my question please know the following:

 

1. I already confirmed my bank account

2. I already confirmed my personal information

3. I went to the resolution center and there are no open cases. 

4. I do not want other alternatives, I just want to add money using my U.S. bank account. This is supposed to be an available option so no alternatives please.

5. I know about backup funding, but I don't like using that option. 

 

 

I was attempting to add money to my paypal account (which would also show up on my business debit card), but when I clicked this option, at the top it says: We were unable to confirm your personal information at this time. To find out what we need from you, go to the Resolution Center. Then in blue (which allows me to click it) I have the option to add money from a green dot pack or schedule regualr transfers/set a minimum. Add money from a U.S. bank account is on there as well, but it is black so I don't have the option to click it; which means I can't add money using my bank account. I clicked on the resolution center to find out that I don't have an open case. My personal information has already been verified (last month) and I called paypal. I was told by paypal that  they don't understand why I can't add money using my bank account. Any ideas would be appreciated...thanks :).

Hey I got it fixed but it was slightly different. After a number of specialists could not figure it out and did not contact me in seven days I called again. This time a specialist asked me to refresh the web page and try again. It worked! I told him it was so simple, but he did say he did something on his end as well. Sorry it took so long to post a solution. It was actually solved a little over a month ago. Hope this helps! 🙂

I also have the same problem and would like to know if I can still pay for items on eBay without having to resolve this issue?

I had the same problem. I called them, they ran me in circles, hung up on me twice when they transfered me to a "specialist". Finally, I got through to an american named Brian. He asked me for my information, told me to sign out of my account and sign back in, and the problem was fixed.

 

Don't bother answering all their stupid questions to begin with, just ask to speak to a specialist. Because I talked to at least five different people and they had no clue on what to do, or how to answer my questions. They just gave me the information I already knew.
