Hi everyone im not sure what happened after i filed a dispute. I purchased something from a kick starter but the seller never delivered.. he kept delaying the shipping date and everyone is pretty much fed up and so was I. So i filed a dispute because i no longer wanted the item.

After i filed the dispute i went on to the main page of resolution centre to check if it had gone through and did not see anything. So i selected all cases and found that the dispute i filed for was already on the case closed area. I dont know whats going on... Is this just an error or a glitch? did anybody had the same issue? i'll try to attache a screenshot.

Some types of digital content are not covered by buyer protection, i would go read up on it and see if that applied to you.

Hi,

From what I know Kickstarter is some sort of crowd funding site. It is not covered by Purchase Protection so it might be the reason it got closed right away. The only other reasons why it will close right after you file the dispute is: 1.) The transaction is more than 180 days old, or 2.) The seller uploaded a valid proof of delivery to the address listed on the transaction details even before you file the dispute.
