Cancelling adding money?

I need to cancel an attempt I made to add money to my paypal since it will take too long to be ready; the estimate was 3-5 business days, and I expected it to be ready before christmas, but instead it will be ready in over a week. I need to use this money within the next few days so I cannot wait 10 days on it.

The reason to cancel this is that I don't want to run into either my money becoming unavailable when I need it or paypal choking on the money not being there.

It is not an option at all in this case to wait until it is into my paypal and put it back into my bank account. I need to keep it from being taken out by paypal in the first place.

Is there anything I can do in this case to prevent paypal from removing, or attempting to remove, my money? I realize it is not forwardly possible to cancel these, but the wait required for it to go through is impossible for me right now.

Once you start the process, there is no recalling.  If there were an option, it would should up with the transcation details in your PayPal activity.

It't time to plan how you will accommodate your finances without this money until the transfer completes.

Of course you could contact PayPal by phone to verify opitons.

I cannot call paypal as I do not have a phone, and I cannot tell if it is toll-free or not  so I cannot use anyone else's phone.

So, I have to find some way to cancel the payment online or, if that isn't possible, find a way to force it to fail.

I suppose you could remove funds from your bank account so there is nothing there for PayPal, but your bank may charge a feed for attempting withdrawal with insufficient funds or the funds will come from you backup account.  I think it is extremely high risk to attempt to make the transfer fail.
